Regina Rosina Geierhofer

Chair of CENELEC TC62and Secretary of IEC TC62, SC62B and SC62C

Ms Geierhofer is currently Chair of CENELEC TC62and Secretary of IEC TC62, SC62B and SC62C. She is also Co-Chair of the AGSNAIG advisory group. She plays a central coordinating role in the developmentof international standards for AI-supported medical devices within the EuropeanUnion.

After her graduations in applied chemistry andapplied mathematics, Ms Geierhofer worked a decade in a university hospital inAustria, with a focus on IT for radiology, nuclear medicine, and pathology.

She moved into industry, where she served various internationalcompanies as a risk manager, regulatory manager, and quality management auditorrespectively.

During more than 20 years she was also engaged in nationaland international standardization in the medical device and informationsecurity standardization at the national and international level.
