The NORISK Workshop returns to the historic city of Braga on 16 June 2026, as part of the ESREL 2026 conference.

This workshop offers NORISK Master’s students the opportunity to present their research to an international audience of experts, researchers, and industry partners working in the fields of safety, reliability, and risk analysis.

The event is designed to provide:

  • Direct exposure to leading specialists in academia and industry
  • Opportunities to connect with peers and professionals across Europe
  • Valuable presentation experience to support students’ development as future researchers and engineers

The main objective of the workshop is to promote the application of safety, reliability, and risk management techniques in civil infrastructures through advanced education, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

  • Norisk Student Pitch Sessions: NORISK students will present their ongoing master’s dissertation research and receive feedback from experts and industry professionals.
  • Student Awards: Excellence recognized through awards for the workshop's best presentations.
  • Keynotes & Networking: Inspiring lectures from senior partners and activities designed to connect your talent with the companies shaping the future.

Registration: Workshop is included with access to the ESREL 2026 conference and is free of charge. However, seats are limited. Participants must secure their place by selecting the “NORISK Workshop” option during the conference registration process.
