The 7th International Workshop on Autonomous Systems Safety (IWASS 2026) will be held in person on June 13–14, 2026, at the University of Minho in Braga, Portugal.

Jointly organized by UCLA’s B. John Garrick Institute for the Risk Sciences, NTNU, and the University of Stuttgart, and supported by ESREL and ESRA. IWASS brings together experts from industry, academia, and regulatory authorities to address safety, reliability, and security challenges in autonomous systems.

This year’s focus is “AI-enabled Autonomy – the Trustworthiness Gap.
