Fabrizio Colalongo
Fabrizio is a senior cybersecurity professional with nearly 30 years of experience across military, NATO, and international operational environments. He currently serves as a Zero Trust Consultant at NATO SHAPE, supporting NATO Digital Transformation initiatives by integrating Zero Trust Architecture, cyber risk management, and security accreditation into complex CIS programs.
His background uniquely combines hands-on offensive security with governance-level risk management. He developed and applied hacking and adversary simulation capabilities within the Italian Army and during international missions, conducting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, attack path analysis, and red team operations in multinational contexts.
Fabrizio applies adversary-driven analysis not as a purely technical exercise, but as a method to produce actionable risk evidence. His work directly supports architectural decisions, security accreditation, and senior-level risk acceptance, consistently bridging technical exploitation, system architecture, and organizational constraints.
He is co-founder of Redaxer a private company where he leads offensive security and cyber risk assessments for public and private organizations. Fabrizio holds multiple Master’s degrees in Cybersecurity and Law, is CISSP certified, teaches cybersecurity and ethical hacking at postgraduate level, and has participated in major NATO cyber exercises including Locked Shields and Cyber Coalition, covering both red and blue team perspectives.
